#FrugalMarch // Spending Ban Final Thoughts

Hello! It's the end of March today and officially the end of my spending ban :) I definitely found this challenge harder than I expected, but I'm proud of how much I stuck to it and feel like I really saved a little bit of money because of it. I've been visiting my family in Newcastle for mother's day this weekend, so I did buy a couple of little things to celebrate, especially since it's pay day weekend too ;)

Clockwise L-R:

  • This bunny is so fluffy it was unreal. Over the weekend I took my baby cousin to a petting zoo on a double decker bus (don't ask) and we had a lot of fun playing with the bunnies and chickens and baby lambs, they were all so cute and he loved them!
  • Have you checked out my swap post that I did with Taslima from The Little Things In Life yet? I'm really loving the Soap and Glory Gloss Stick and the Miss Sporty mascara in particular and have used them a lot this past week.
  • As some of you may know, I'm studying English at university but i'm also studying to become a TESOL teacher, and this week the Japanese students I've been teaching since Christmas headed back to Japan. I'm really going to miss them!
  • On that note, two of the girls that I was paired up with personally were nice enough to get me some final thank you gifts - I got some cards, some chocolate from Paris, a lovely silk makeup bag from Japan and some Japanese lollipops. I baked them some cake for them to take away with them as well, so hopefully they enjoyed that as much as I enjoyed their gifts.
  • And finally, have a selfie from the final day of Frugal March to wrap up this post with - my sister did my hair for me and I really liked how she did it looking so natural and casual, so I've taken some pointers from her re: my sadly underused curling iron.
I'm happy that I undertook this challenge but also happy to be finishing it. I'm planning some really exciting things coming up on the blog very soon including some guest posts, a new Sewing Sundays feature starting next week and some product reviews, so watch this space! How was your weekend?

Liebster Award

Hey everyone! So I was nominated for a Leibster Award by Nikki from Dollar Store Diva. It's basically a list of tag questions and she gave me some questions to answer, then instructions to tag some more people and set them some different questions. It's a nice way to find new blogs and make new friends, especially amongst newer blogs, so here we go!

1. Do you use liquid or powder foundation?

Liquid. I have combination skin so powder foundation kind of scares me and I've never really used it to be honest.

2. What's your dream job?

I'm hopefully starting my MA and PHD in Linguistics later this year, and my ultimate goal is to be a lecturer. My dream job would be an academic slash teacher with a couple of published books, plenty of opportunities to travel for work and a comfortable salary.

3. Do you live in a land-locked or coastal state?

I live in the UK so it's pretty hard to be land-locked really!! But honestly, I couldn't live any closer to the coast without being in the actual sea to be honest. Our house is one minutes walk from the cliff-top leading down to the beach. Soon i'll be moving further inland though, and I'll miss it :(

4. What your favorite app to use on your phone, and why?

Probably tumblr! I also use twitter and facebook a lot though. Aside from social networking apps, I have the UFYH app, which for those of you who aren't familiar with it, is a blog which provides motivation and cleaning tips for people who find it difficult to keep things clean and tidy. It's very motivating indeed and I like to use it on days when i'm having a bit of a slump.

5. What your favorite "cheat"/unhealthy food? The greasier the better!

Ahhh I don't believe in 'cheat' foods haha, I enjoy everything I eat equally without guilt. I love a good fish and chips covered in salt and vinegar, or curry chips and rice from the chinese with a big bag of prawn crackers. Perfect for lazy saturday evenings with the boyfriend and a film <3

6. Do you use coupons/look for deals when you shop?

Oh definitely, as you can probably guess from my blog name I do like a good bargain! Coupons not so much, but I use clubcard points and nectar points and boots points and things all the time.

7. What's the most visited website on your browser?

Without even looking, again I'm going to 100% say facebook. I don't even use it that much, it's just always open so I can talk to people and/or quietly stalk them while i'm avoiding doing things that actually need to be done.

8. Who's your icon in the blogging/youtube sphere?

Well, I was first motivated to start blogging after being inspired by the lovely Stars for Streetlights and the super cool Annika at The Pineneedle Collective, so they both rate pretty highly on my list. In terms of YouTube, I really love watching Danisnotonfire and Sprinkle of Glitter because they both make me laugh until I cry! I'm also a big fan of Mark Oshiro from Mark Does Stuff and I've followed him since his very beginner Mark Reads Twilight days! Oh the horrible memories~ These people are all so amazingly awesome and you should go check them all out if you haven't already.

9. What's your dream concert lineup?

Ah, this is where my ridiculous music taste is revealed. The dream would be Scissor Sisters, Billy Talent, The Rocket Summer, Mindless Self Indulgence, Billy Joel and the entire cast of Glee. And it would be all for meeeee because nobody else would want to go hahahaha

10. What's the favorite piece of clothing you own?

Ohh this is hard! I'm going to say my Superdry hoodie because it's very warm and comfy and I've had it for a very long time which is good because it was really expensive!

I'm nominating: Leigh-Anne from Sew My Life Back Together, Katie from Buddle and Squeak, Meg from A Scholar Life, Leighlee from Beauty, Bargains and Beyond, Olivia from Awake Looks, Nadja from Throw Me Something Beautiful and Taslima from The Little Things in Life

Here are my questions for all of you lovely ladies to answer!

  1. How long have you been blogging and what inspired you to start?
  2. What is your alcoholic beverage of choice?
  3. What is your favourite pet - cats, dogs or something else?
  4. Do you wear makeup every day?
  5. Where would your dream holiday destination be?
  6. Have you ever tried vlogging? If not, would you ever?
  7. What is something that scares you?
  8. Where do you see yourself in five years time, both personally and professionally?
  9. How would you describe your clothing style?
  10. What book have you read and enjoyed recently?

Leave me a comment below with a link to your answers, I'd love to read them! This weekend I'm chilling out with my family and looking forward to the end of my #FrugalMarch spending ban (final post on that coming on Monday), as well as trying not to stress too much about my piles of uni work. Hope you're all well!

Spring 2014 Beauty Blog Swap - Photos and Swatches

Way back in February I decided to sign up for my first ever beauty bloggers swap event, hosted and organised by Kat from Tales of a Pale Face who went to the trouble of matching everybody up with a swapping partner. I was paired with the lovely Taslima whose blog I was actually already a fan of! She runs The Little Things In Life and I would really recommend you check her blog out if you have a minute. We exchanged quite a few emails talking about our favourite products and the things on our wishlists, then got to shopping. Our budget was £15 but we both agreed to also send some things from our stashes, since neither of us minded a couple of things being swatched and used one or two times. She really spoiled me and I'm so excited with what she chose for me! I'm going to review a few of these products separately, so I thought in this post I'd just give an overview of what was in my nice little package.

Be a Bombshell Onyx Eyeliner Pen, Natural Collection Lash Curl Mascara, Miss Sporty Fabulous Lash XtraBlack, Natural Collection Eyeshadow in Lilac Shimmer, NYC Eyeshadow in Luxury Reborn
I love Natural Collection and already have a couple of these little eyeliner pots in various colours, so this pretty shimmery lilac looks lovely as a highlighting shade. The NYC shadow is a gorgeous brown and is so well pigmented. I love that Taslima got me mascaras aimed at lash curling since that's what my lashes really need haha!

L-R: Natural Collection Lilac Shimmer, NYC Luxury Reborn, Be A Bombshell Onyx
I'm especially excited to try out this eyeliner pen - maybe I'll finally get a decent wing from this since I'm pretty rubbish at liquid eyeliner. When swatched on my arm it absolutely didn't budge until I removed it properly, even when rubbed at with a tissue - talk about staying power!

L-R: Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in 130 Oxford St. Fuschia, Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist, Rimmel Lasting Finish in 077 Asia
I adore Rimmel lipsticks so this was a lovely surprise! 130 Oxford Street is a gorgeous pink with just a hint of fuchsia, making it very wearable for my super pale skin. 077 Asia is very different, a brown toned nude that is quite different to anything else I own, so I'm looking forward to trying that out and seeing how it looks.

L-R: Rimmel Moisture Renew 130 Oxford St. Fuschia, Rimmel Lasting Finish 077 Asia, Soap and Glory Gloss Stick Nudist
I've had my eye on a Soap and Glory Gloss Stick since I tried out the sexy motherpucker lipgloss which I really like, so I'm thrilled with this one. The shade is a very subtle apricot nude, perfect for perking up a plain nude lip with a bit of shine.

L:R Miss Sporty Studio Colour in 108 Romance, L'Occitane En Provence Fleur Cherie in Rose Dentelle, Rimmel London Blush in 041 Bronze
I have a confession - I only own one blusher, and have never had the courage to try bronzer or highlighter outside of the odd sample pot, so this is great! The miss sporty is actually an eye-shadow, but Taslima suggested it might work better as a highlighter and I agree, and the Rimmel bronzer will be perfect for summer. They all have such pretty patterns on them don't they!

L:R - NARS Sheer Coverage Foundation 4ml Sample in Light 4, Harmony Moisturizing Smoothie Serum & Primer
And finally, a cute little NARS foundation pot and a face serum. I've never tried a serum and this feels gorgeous, really creamy and light, so hopefully it doesn't make me break out like a lot of face products do. It states that it is 100% allergy free and vegan though, so I'm hopeful. As a side note, it smells AMAZING, like lemongrass and just really fresh.

L:R - NARS Foundation in Light 4, Harmony Moisturizing Smoothie Serum
I've been debating whether or not to buy myself a NARS foundation when (if ever) I have a little more money to spend, so I'll definitely be trying this out. The shade looks a little dark for me when swatched, but when blended it disappears into my skin completely.

Aaaaand that's it! She really did spoil me completely and I am looking forward to trying everything out in full as soon as possible. Blog swaps are such a great experience when you have a good partner and getting things in the post is always fun anyhow.
Have you ever taken part in a blog swap? Have you ever tried any of the products in this post? Let me know below, and I hope everyone is having a great day!

Shop My Wardrobe: One Skirt, Three Ways

Hey guys! Today I'm going to show you three different ways I would wear a basic black skater skirt. Mine was £9.99 from H&M but you can pick them up from pretty much everywhere, or if you're feeling crafty, make them really easily with a simple circle mini skirt tutorial, found widely online. I find it a really great basic to have in my wardrobe as it can be adapted really easily for different occasions. Keep reading to see the three different ways I've come up with to style this simple little skirt!

1. Night-Time Drinks

Firstly, I would pair this skirt with a sheer black sleeveless blouse and metallic bag and bracelets for a night out in town. Add black or metallic heels and low bun for a classy, dressy look. I wore this outfit on a girls night out for cocktails late last year and I still love it because it's so easy to dress up or down depending on the type of bar or club you're going to.

2. Beach Trip

Wear with bare legs or nude tights, a crop top, simple accessories and big sunglasses for a summery look. I would wear this to the beach, or on a trip to the park once the weather warms up, with some wedge sandals or simple ballet pumps. Just make sure to wear plenty of sunblock if you're as terribly pale as I am!

3. Casual Grunge

Finally, a more casual look. A too-big band t-shirt, tousled hair, dark lipstick and dark beads go nicely with this simple skirt for a slightly more feminine look than jeans or shorts. I would wear this with a leather jacket, black lace up boots and a couple more bracelets to go and see some my boyfriend's band play live, or for a casual day out when I don't want to feel too girly and dressy.

How would you wear this skirt? Which of these looks is your favourite (mine is number two!)? Let me know below, as well as letting me know if you'd like to see more of these type of posts in the future :)

#Frugal March // Spending Ban Week 3

Hey all, aren't we glad it's Saturday once again? I know I definitely am. This week's been another busy one, and unfortunately I've been quite under the weather for a good portion of it, so I've spent quite a bit of time at home doing work from the sofa curled in blankets! Aside from that though, I've been sticking to my spending ban pretty well this week, apart from one tiny slip up. My boyfriend was nice enough to treat me to some things - as much as I'd like us to, I can't make him stop spending as well, so I'm not going to complain! But aside from a takeaway and a bottle of wine, even he hasn't spent much, so we're still on track. Click the photo to see in full detail!

Clockwise from top right:

  • Last weekend we had some friends over for some drinking and had a really good time. Nights out in this town are incredibly cheap, and I was lucky enough to have John pay for taxis, so it was pretty much guilt free. I had a lot of fun dressing up and dancing and spending time with friends <3
  • One thing I have been doing this week while I've been stuck at home is sorting out my clothes a little. Spring cleaning is coming up and I'm determined to donate some of the clothes I don't wear so I've been sorting out my dresses and 'going out' clothes when I found this dress I bought last year and have hardly ever worn. I love it and i'm going to try and wear it soon!
  • This is what I've probably been most excited about this week - I'm planning on getting a tattoo for my 21st birthday, and I had it drawn up this week! It's based on the poem 'Mother, Any Distance' by Simon Armitage and it'll be my first tattoo :) What do you think?
  • I've been at work again this week, we've had lots of recruitment activity going on and thankfully mostly quite nice weather for it. I took this photo on my way up to work at a horrendous 7.15am, which shouldn't be LEGAL on a Saturday, but never mind. Later this same day, it began to snow heavily and sleeted for almost an hour. Don't you just love British weather...
I hope you've all had a good week! Next week is my final week of this challenge and then in April I have an exciting new weekly feature coming up, so make sure you stick around to check that out :)

Company Lashes Mascara - Magazine Freebie Review

Hey guys ! So my lovely boyfriend bought me Company Magazine the other day on a quick Supermarket trip, and I was very happy to see that there was a little surprise included. This month's issue (with Zoella on the cover!) includes a free mascara so I thought I'd give it a go and let you all know what I thought of it. The magazine costs £2.60 and is full of really great fashion and lifestyle features, and this month's is an East London special which I found really interesting. It's my go-to magazine after Glamour and I'd recommend it if you are looking for something to read.

Read on for a review of this mascara with pictures:

New Look - Mini Accessories Haul

I know what you're thinking - isn't this girl on a #frugalmarch spending ban?! Well, you're right, I still absolutely am. However, I was lucky enough to win £30 worth of New Look gift cards in a FBL giveaway a few weeks ago, so I decided to treat myself a little when I was in town the other day. The shop had loads of things on sale so I was able to get much more than my £30's worth in the end! After lots of umming and ahhing, here's what I ended up with.

The first thing I got was this gorgeous handbag. Originally £25, it was on sale for £17.99 and I knew straight away that I had to snap it up. The life of a university student can be rather hard on bags, and I have a terrible habit of overloading mine and putting way too much strain on the handles. It's cost me a couple of bags, so I'm slowly learning to prioritize what I need in my bag and use my backpack or my much loved vintage leather briefcase when I absolutely need the heavy things! This has plenty of room inside and a detachable long handle which clips on and off. With its lovely neutral colour palate I'm fairly sure this is going to become my new favourite handbag.

Couldn't resist these beauties! They were originally £28 but were reduced to just £11, and more importantly, they were in my size! I'm a teeny size 3 foot, so I'm often quite limited in my choice of heels, and am therefore always extra happy when I find a pair I really love. These are black soft leather and they make me rather tall, but they're also pretty comfy to wear. I wore them out on Saturday last weekend when we went out dancing - not something I do very often, but I do like to once in a while. I ended up carrying them home after a slight overindulgence of the cheap magners on offer for St Patrick's Day weekend (whoops) but I'm very happy with them.

Finally I decided to pick up some jewelry to make up the £30 budget I had. These rings were originally £4 each but both were reduced to half price, making them £4 for the two together instead. Would you believe these are actually the first rings I've ever owned? I've never been that into them really, and excepting wedding and engagement rings (*cough* which I unfortunately am not yet in possession of *cough*) I've never known anybody who wore them very often. Still, I figured I'd give it a go and I found these two that I really love. The blue one in particular is very striking, and I think they both look worth much more than what I paid for them.

So that's it! I did toy with the idea of getting a new dress or top but I really wanted a new bag and then the rest just called out to me. What do you think of my purchases? Would you have bought similar things, or something completely different? Let me know below!

- Natalie XOX

Note: These products were chosen and bought by me using vouchers won in a randomly chosen giveaway. This post was NOT sponsored by New Look or any other company. Any sponsorship in posts of this nature will be clearly flagged and made obvious to readers. Thanks for reading!

#Frugal March // Spending Ban Week 2

Happy Saturday! This past week has been so hectic for me, I'm really glad it's over actually. On top of an assessed teaching practice and normal lectures, I also had to all but finish a whole chapter of my dissertation in under five days, so naturally I've spend the majority of my week holed up in the library!

Clockwise from top right:

  • These books were delivered to me for free this week for my online book club to read and review :) It was very kind of the publishers to gift these to us, and I'm really looking forward to reading it. Check out the LLLbookclub here if you fancy getting involved. everyone is welcome. Our read this month is Emma by Jane Austen!
  • I've been baking again, as per usual. Chicken cream pie this time which was very nice indeed. Other cooking adventures this week have included some rather nice steak medallions, a butternut squash and potato biryiani and homemade naan breads. I just really love food, seriously. So good.
  • I commissioned this digitally drawn art a few weeks ago and I'm so happy with how it turned out! How do you think it looks on my sidebar?
  • I went swimming at the local indoor pool this week with my friend Leigh-Anne, and I was so happy I did. I love swimming, I feel so at home in the water and for me it's a great way to exercise when it's quite warm outside so you don't really feel like getting all sweaty running and doing other things. Plus it's covered by my student gym membership, so really i've got no excuse not to. This is the view from outside of the pool looking over the sea.
  • As well as university, teaching practice and library time this week I've also been at work. Yes, my life really is that busy this semester D: You can check out my smart-casual work makeup and hair look here if you fancy a read.

I have slipped up a tiny bit more than last week, owing to the fact I didn't get a chance to pack my lunch one day and had to spend £5 on food at university. We also did our big food shop this week, but that was pretty necessary so I'm going to give myself a free pass for that one. Overall I've found it a bit harder to stick to this week, but I think that's mostly because I spent money once and then wanted to again and again as a result. Starting tomorrow I'm back on the wagon 100% - aiming for absolutely no necessary spending at all for week 3!

Smart and Natural - Makeup for Work

Hiya! I thought I'd share my hair and makeup today since I was quite happy with how it looked. I don't need to dress up for my work really, but since I work at the same place I study, sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between dressing for lessons at university and dressing for work, so I try and make a bit more of an effort. Especially today as I knew I was going to be teaching a class today - scary!

So, contacts in, nice fresh blow-dry, simple jewellery and a graphic print blouse with a jean skirt, woolen tights and ballet flats and I'm ready to go. Just a little fact - my boyfriend bought me this silver and diamond necklace as a gift for our five year anniversary last year, and I love it so much! I like to think of this makeup as mostly natural with the little eyeliner flick and pink-peach lipstick dressing it up a bit and making it a bit smarter.

Face:

Dainty Doll Foundation in Light 002
Natural Collection Cover-Up Cream (under eyes)
Dainty Doll Hot Pour Concealer in Light 002 (blemishes)
Natural Collection Loose Powder in Neutral Translucent
Generic brown eyeliner pencil (eyebrows)

Eyes:

Light Nude Eye-shadow from Generic Palette
Light Bronze Eye-shadow from Generic Palette
Seventeen High Drama Liquid Eyeliner in Black
Max Factor False Lash Effect in Black Brown

Lips:

Lush Lip Scrub in Bubblegum (lip prep)
Burts Bees Natural Beeswax Lip Balm (lip prep)
Max Factor Lipfinity in 340 Essential Natural

Do you like to make a bit more effort sometimes at work or school? Do you like to experiment with hair and makeup at work, or do you keep it neutral and safe usually? What do you think of this look? Let me know below!

Review: The Nature's Co. Berry Lip Balm

Hey guys! Today's post is going to be about this cute little lip balm by The Nature's Co that I won in a competition a few weeks ago! I've had a little while to try it out now and I thought I'd share my thoughts on it with you lovely lot.

The Nature's Co are an Indian company and this lip balm is made from entirely natural ingredients, containing a high percentage of shea butter, mango butter and kokum butter. I was glad about this since I tend to avoid a majority of lip balms such as Vaseline, etc. due to how much they dry out my lips after a while. It has a great fruity smell and comes nice little transparent pot so you can clearly see how much you have left. The lid screws on nice and tight so there's no chance of it coming off if you toss it in your bag haphazardly.

You get quite a bit of product in the tub and the expiration date is thankfully almost two years away, so plenty of time to use it all up. The balm is bright pink in the pot but goes on colourless. The formula is quite strangely hard, which I can only presume is because of the high quantities of natural ingredients, and it's not very easy to get out of the tub especially if it's been left in a cold place. I've taken to leaving this in the bathroom when i'm not using it so the steam can soften it up a little, and I can use it in the mornings straight after brushing my teeth. Once on lips, it isn't greasy or sticky at all, sinking nicely into the skin like a good moisturizer and leaving lips nice and soft to the touch.

Overall this is a nice little lip balm which I'm very happy to add into my daily regime. It smells great and preps my lips wonderfully for lipstick and lip-glosses, even matte and light-coloured ones. I'm glad to have had the chance to try this out as I likely would not have ever purchased this product otherwise!

Spring Outfit Inspiration // Polyvore

Hey! Today's post is going to be a roundup of my recent Polyvore sets, featuring some cute looks I've put together for some various different occasions. Take a look if you fancy!

Although I'm generally not too keen on pastels, I have a soft spot for baby blue, and this look pairs it with some of my other favourite things including crochet, grey accessories and bold white nails. I especially love the textured Mantaray shoes, so pretty. I think this would look great on a Spring picnic date, or a trip to the park or the beach equally well, with the cardigan there just in case the weather turns chilly.

This light pink dress is a gorgeous sixties shape and dressing it up with black and gold accessories and clumpy sandal heels stops it from being overly girly and twee. I love dressing up for nights out, and I think a look like this is great for when the weather is just getting warmer again and you start feeling brave enough to go out without tights and boots on!

I've blogged about slip dresses before and I still think they're one of the most versatile trends to show up this Spring. Pairing a simple knee-length dress with a soft, long-sleeved white blouse and bright shoes and handbag is just conservative enough for work, but has enough colour and interest to really brighten your day and mirror the brightening skies outside. I am seriously coveting that orange bag, and might have to keep an eye out for a high street dupe.

Are you updating your look as the weather warms up? Would you wear any of these outfits, or are they not your kind of style? Let me know below!

#Frugal March // Spending Ban Week 1

Hello guys! It's been a week now since I started my #frugalmarch challenge (which you can read more about here) and I thought I'd write a quick update of what I've been doing through some of the photos I've taken lately :)

Clockwise from top right:

  • This crazy looking table is a craft project I've been working on lately for my (sadly slightly late!) Craft Blog Challenge. It started off as a nice but boring nest of metal and pine side tables, so i'm updating it with a couple of coats of paint in some nice patterns. All materials were bought about a month ago, so no extra has been spent on this!
  • I've been catching up on my collection of face masks this month, as it's nice to come home from a long day at work and have a little luxury to look forward to. This one is Blemish Mud by Montagne Jeunesse. Side note - don't you just love my stylish onesie ;)
  • I trim and dye my own hair at home, something I've been doing for a couple of years now. If I want a style change I go to the hairdressers, but for my 6-8 weekly trims I take care of it myself. I neatened it up the other day!
  • I try and cook at home as much as possible, especially over the past week. Me and my boyfriend both prefer home cooked meals and it's more cost effective to do so anyway, so it's the best of both worlds really. This is a sausage and butter-bean hotpot which was very nice if I do say so myself.
  • We've had some lovely weather here lately, which is always nice when you live by the sea. This is the view I had on the walk from my house to the town centre on Tuesday when I had to go to the post office. Isn't it gorgeous?
Overall I've been sticking to the challenge really well I think! I do admit to buying Glamour magazine earlier this week, but since I got a free Models Co Lipgloss worth £15 and interviews with the wonderful Carmen Carrera, Lea Michele and fashion stuff to read, I don't think I did too badly for two quid. The only other expenses this week were pre-planned, such as the TV License bill, internet bill and prezzies for my best friend's 21st birthday. No food outside of the house, no hot drinks up at uni (although a 9am lecture where I forgot my flask seveeeeerely tested that resolution earlier this week) and I don't feel like I've been missing out on anything, so I'm happy.

How has your week been? Are you feeling the financial pinch this Spring, or is this a good time for spending in your life? Let me know below!

Acne Daily Skincare Routine

I've had bad skin for a very long time now, probably since about my first year of high school. I attempted to deal with it on my own for about two years, before finally giving up and going to the doctors aged 13 who told me that the horribly painful swellings on my face were not going to go away with just regular face washing, and began treating me for cystic acne. As if being 13 isn't hard enough anyway! At about 17 my skin finally seemed to calm down it's 5 year tantrum, unfortunately leaving me with quite a few scars, which knocked my confidence at the time but i've since accepted them as just another part of me.

Nowadays I have more good skin days than bad generally, but what I consider a good skin day is probably quite different to most other peoples. In the past year or two I've really had to start paying a lot of attention to my daily skincare to keep things within my control. The skin products I use are ones i'm comfortable with after a fair bit of trial and error, and what works for me won't necessarily be best for anybody else, but I thought I would share anyway!
